An Agorapulse alternative for teams whose main job is YouTube comments

Agorapulse is a full social media suite: publishing, inbox and reporting across 11 networks. Comment Command does a narrower job: YouTube comments, with Instagram on Pro and Agency. If you publish across networks, Agorapulse does things we don't. If comments are most of your work, you may not need to pay for the rest.

Best fit for Agorapulse

Teams that publish, moderate and report across many social networks from one suite, and want a mobile app or long data retention.

Best fit for Comment Command

Small teams and agencies that mostly answer and sort YouTube comments and want one flat price for the team.

Main difference

Agorapulse charges per user and covers the whole social media workflow. Comment Command charges per workspace and covers comment work only.

Where Agorapulse is stronger

  • It covers 11 networks, including Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest. Comment Command covers YouTube and Instagram, plus X as an Agency add-on.
  • It publishes and schedules posts, including YouTube videos and Shorts. Comment Command doesn't publish anything.
  • It has iOS and Android apps. Comment Command is website only.
  • Its reports go further, with ROI and team performance reports, and it lists integrations such as Slack, HubSpot and Zapier.
  • It's an established product. Comment Command is new and has no published customer reviews yet.

When Comment Command makes sense

  • Most of your social media work is YouTube comments, not publishing.
  • Two to five people work on comments and per-user pricing adds up.
  • You want AI labels, reply drafts, saved replies and exports on the same plan.
  • You manage several channels and want one queue for all of them.

How to compare them on your own channel

Both products let you start without a card, so test them on real comments rather than on this table:

  1. Start Agorapulse's 30-day trial and Comment Command's Free plan, and connect the same YouTube channel to both.
  2. Pick one busy video and go through its comments in each tool.
  3. Answer a question, delete a spam comment and assign a comment to a teammate. Comment Command's Free plan has one seat, so assignment needs Pro.
  4. Export what you did and check whether someone outside the team could read the file.
  5. Before you decide, check that the plan you would actually pay for includes what you used. A trial can include more than your plan.

What changes if you move

Your YouTube Studio blocked words and hold settings stay where they are. Comment Command syncs comments from YouTube itself, within your plan's video limit, and keeps them for your plan's retention period: 180 days on Pro, 365 on Agency.

If you use Agorapulse to publish, moving your comments would not replace that part of it. You would need to keep a publishing tool, which may cost more than staying put.

How we compared

Basis: a team of five handling YouTube comments. Prices are list prices in US dollars before tax, read from each company's own pricing page on the date above. We multiplied Agorapulse's per-user price by five. Its yearly prices are per month, billed yearly.

The products are different sizes. Agorapulse's price also pays for publishing and reporting across networks, which Comment Command doesn't offer, so this compares comment work only.
